Mercedes E-Class W210 Rust and Body Paint (Part 2)

 After identifying the rust location, the rust will be removed. The bare metal will be covered by anti-rust before it is painted.

1. Front part of the car. Rust location was identified and remove before sealed with anti-rust.














2. Front light rust location.













3. Left door rust location. Note that the rust is removed around the tyre housing. This part can become rust easily if dirt is trap around the housing. The front left wing has been replace with new wing.

Mercedes E-Class W210 Rust and Body Paint (Part 1)

The Mercedes E-Class W210 below was sent to body paint shop to check for rust and before doing some rust removal and body paint work.

1. Front view of the car. Most parts were taken out to reveal the rust at the body.













2. Rust under the front light (right side).














3. Rust under the front light (left side).














4. Near the rear tyre (right side). Only can be seen once the cover is removed.














5. Rust at the rear bumper. Have to take off the rear bumper to reveal it.














6. Bad rust at the left front wing. Only can be seen if look from underneath.














7. Bad rust at the front right wing.














8. Rust at the left door.














9. Rust under the rear seat.

Mercedes E Class W210 Engine Overhaul

This Mercedes E-Class W210 engine was overhauled after involved in a flood. The water enter directly to the engine through the air flow. Since the air flow for this model is low, the water easily got into the engine and cause damage to it.

1. Top engine is opened to check the amount of water enter the top engine.














2. Engine is unmounted from the car for overhaul.


4. Disassemble the engine- all the engine component .













5. More engine dissembling.













6. Normal W210 piston. It look so beautiful.


7. W210 bend piston due to water hammering. That will cost money to replace.
